Sacks & Tracts for Jesus Outreach Ministry
“We are just people reaching people for Jesus.”
The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few (Luke 10:2)
Jesus said, open your eyes and look at the fields, they are ripe for the harvest. (John 4:35)
“The harvest is great enough,” he remarked to his disciples, “but the reapers are few. So you must pray to the Lord of the harvest to send men out to reap it.” (Matt 9:38)
The Sacks and Tracts for Jesus Outreach Ministry began in October 2013, (to date we have ministered to approx. 630 people). Through God’s Word at MPCF’s many inspiring services, bible studies, and prayers we have been equipped by the Holy Spirit to better serve our church, our community, and our country. This outreach connects people to people in a natural, easy, low risk, high grace way. Who doesn’t like to be given a bottle of water on a hot day? Especially by someone who is smiling, happy and having fun. Sacks & Tracts wins the heart before it confronts the mind. A small act of kindness nudges a person closer to God. Often in a profound way as it bypasses ones mental defenses. The average Christ follower is willing to hand a stranger a bottle of water or lunch sack (low risk). The high grace is seen in the typical reaction, “Oh, Thank you!”, “This is so nice!” I can’t believe this is free!” And, “Why are you doing this?” Kindness builds the bridge for the person to receive a touch of love from God. Add an invitation to church, a tract or a prayer and you’ve reached someone with the love of Christ! It’s simple, practical, effective, inexpensive and fun. Will you join us and discover the Holy Spirit’s power and impact of “showing God’s love in practical ways”.
If winning souls to His Kingdom and fulfilling the “Great Commission” is calling you, this ministry has many opportunities.
We invite you to partner with us, by prayer, service, or donations.
