SUNDAY WITH DERRICK BURTON

SUNDAY MAY 30TH @ 9AM we are going to be blessed to have Derrick Burton speak.
Derrick Burton is an ordained Elder in the Church of God in Christ and the Program Director at the Orange County Rescue Mission. He has been with the mission for over thirteen years and loves the work he does, he delights in helping people in need.
Derrick is a board member for “Survivor2Leader an Anti-Trafficking Organization, and is a board member for the Association of Christian Alcohol & Drug Counselors Institute where he has taught classes on addiction. Derrick was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Biblical Addictions Counseling and has earned certifications as a Master’s Level-Registered Addiction Specialist, Master’s Level-Drug, Alcohol & Addiction Counselor, and has achieved a Certified Alcohol Other Drug Counselor-Clinical Supervisor Credential.
Derrick Burton is proud to be the husband of one, father of two, stepfather of three; and the grandfather of five. He is married to his best friend and the love of his life, Yolanda Callegari Burton. He enjoys football, theatrical productions, spending time with his children and playing with his grandkids. Derrick is devoted to the Lord and passionate about empowering people to grow into who God created them to be.
